前 言

聽力理解是一個復雜的過程,影響聽力理解的因素有很多,其中詞匯是一個非常關鍵的因素。因此把聽力

訓練與平時的詞匯教學有機地結合起來,是一種高效的教學和學習方式。為此,我們依據(jù)教育部制定的《普通

高中英語課程標準》(2017 年版 2020 年修訂)編寫了與教材同步的《新高中英語同步聽力進階訓練》系列,

旨在通過詞匯學習和訓練,準確把握聽力材料,提高聽力理解能力,并以聽的方式,復現(xiàn)教材詞匯、夯實詞匯

基礎,從而實現(xiàn)英語知識的融會貫通和舉一反三,為英語學習打下堅實的基礎。

一、本書核心理念

1. 回歸聽力訓練的本質

聽在英語學習中是第一位的,聽懂了,才能記得住。在實際教學中,日常聽力訓練主要針對聽力考試,側

重于如何通過瀏覽題干和選項,聽關鍵詞、抓關鍵信息、激活圖示等應試技巧,而忽略了聽力教學在整個英語

教學中的真正價值。我們倡導聽力教學應該精研聽力文本,讓學生聽懂說話者的每一個詞、每一句話,實現(xiàn)對

聽力文本的真正理解,而不應該僅以讓學生做對聽力試題為目的。

2. 聽力教學與詞匯教學相結合

在聽力理解中,詞匯的重要性不言而喻。但在傳統(tǒng)的英語教學中,教師往往對聽力教學和詞匯教學投入的

時間不夠,而且很少將兩者結合起來。我們通過精心挑選聽力材料,最大限度地復現(xiàn)教材詞匯,將聽力教學和

詞匯教學緊密結合起來,形成一種非常高效、實用的教學方式。聽前詞匯學習,不僅可以幫助學生掃除聽力學

習中的詞匯障礙,還能以在聽力文本中復現(xiàn)教材詞匯的方式,幫助學生鞏固教材詞匯學習成果。

3. 聽力理解與詞塊意識

在傳統(tǒng)的英語學習中,學生習慣逐個學習、記憶單詞,對詞匯的提取往往是以單個詞為單位的。雖然積

累了大量的詞匯,但是在聽的過程中,往往抓住的都是孤立的單詞,無法精準理解或是來不及辨認聽到的一

連串詞匯。我們把詞塊作為記憶的基本單位,幫助學生擴大短時記憶的信息加工量,有效提高信息處理的速

度和精準度。

4. 聽讀結合,以聽促讀,以讀促聽

在傳統(tǒng)的英語聽力學習中,學生往往通過不斷復聽的方式來提高聽力理解,但效果不佳。在語言學習過程

中,聽和讀都屬于理解性輸入技能,其目的和過程是相同的,只是讀比聽相對容易一些,因此對于聽力中較難

理解的部分,我們建議先聽再讀,然后通過精研詞匯的學習方式來培養(yǎng)學生在聽力理解中的語用能力,進而提

高聽力理解能力。

二、本書定位:高中英語同步聽力

每個單元緊扣教材話題,復現(xiàn)教材重、難點詞匯。不僅注重復現(xiàn)的次數(shù),而且還有意識地在復現(xiàn)的層次

初高中銜接語音基礎知識

英語不同于漢語,它是拼音文字,讀音和拼寫之間有直接聯(lián)系,因此,語音基礎知識是

英語聽、說、讀、寫、看五大技能的共同基礎。在初學階段,聽不準、發(fā)音錯、拼寫錯等等

是學生普遍的問題。到了高中階段,詞匯量增大,句子長度變長、難度加大,良好的語音基

礎知識及訓練會顯著提高學生的詞匯記憶、聽力理解、會話流暢度,乃至閱讀、寫作水平。

語音與聽力的關系更是相輔相成、密不可分的??傊?,做好語音基礎知識的初高中銜接工作

英式英語和美式英語在讀音上的差異主要反映在元音字母 a、o 和輔音字母 r 上。字母 a 在英音中發(fā) /??/ 時,

在美音中通常發(fā) /?/,如:ask、dance;字母 a、o 在英音中發(fā) /X/ 時,在美音中通常發(fā) /??/,如:wash、

watch、clock、sorry。字母 r 在元音后面或者形成雙元音時,在英音中通常不發(fā) /?/,而在美音中通常發(fā) /?/,

如:river、wear。

元音的長度:同一個元音的長度會受其后面的音素影響而不同。如 niece 中的長元音 /i:/ 后面接清輔音 /s/,

knees 中的長元音 /i:/ 后面接濁輔音 /z/,此時 niece 中的 /i:/ 比 knees中的短。注意元音的長度能避免說話時

各個音節(jié)長度太平均,增強說話時的節(jié)奏感,另外,注意元音的長度有助于聽清詞匯,進而幫助聽力理解。

在英語學習過程中,影響聽辨的主要有以下幾個因素:單詞重音、連讀、不完全爆破、

音的同化和弱讀。單詞重音讀錯,不但給聽者帶來不好的感受,也會影響其理解;連讀、不

完全爆破、音的同化、弱讀會造成單詞的讀音在連貫語流中發(fā)生變化,可能會給聽者帶來困

惑,進而影響理解。

W: Hello, boys and girls. 20 If you have not been to Adventure World, then you must visit us this summer. We are not far from Upton, so we

are easy to fi nd. Adventure World is open after the winter break on 18 March but you can book tickets ahead of time from 12 March.

Now, how much does it cost? Well, tickets for grown-ups are sixteen pounds but children under fi fteen only pay twelve pounds

fi fty. There are also family tickets for forty-fi ve pounds. 17 Included in that price are special shows. On Saturday these are for

children younger than ten, and on Sunday, for those who are eleven and over.

This year Adventure World is better than ever. 18There is a new ride called Splashdown and it is very fast — it goes at seventyfi ve kilometres per hour! That’s thirty kilometres per hour faster than any of our other rides.

We have also improved our zoo. 19As well as our popular lions and tigers, we now have monkeys too. They have their own house

where you can watch them playing and having fun.
