Graduates from this programme are well prepared for careers in a

range of local, national, and international engineering companies due

to their well-rounded, multidisciplinary, and high-calibre engineering

education. The programme also provides a solid foundation for

further studies at masters and PhD levels in fields including computer

science and intelligent computation, aerial, aviation, aeronautics,

mechanical and mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence,

machine vision, pattern recognition, advanced intelligent control, as

well as intelligent robotics, etc.

for Robotics-related jobs, relative to engineering reaches 60%, in

2023. The details are shown in Figure 1-1.

Presented in Figure 1-2, over 40% of obtained PG offers received by

the 1st cohort of graduating students in 2023 are in intelligent

robotics related programmes.

Intelligent robots essentially refer to modern electromechanical devices with high

integration, high automation, and intelligence. In contemporary industry and human life,

robots refer to a type of robotic system with artificial intelligence capabilities. It can

perceive the environment, understand and interpret information, and take corresponding

actions. Intelligent robots typically combine abilities in perception, decision-making, and

execution to accomplish various tasks.

BEng Intelligent Robotics Engineering with

Contemporary Entrepreneurialism

encompasses knowledge from

various fields, including computer

science modules that focus on

building the brain of robots,

mechanical engineering

knowledge that addresses the

body and limbs of robots, electronic and electrical knowledge that
