The International High School of ISA Liwan offers a wide range

of curriculum options for students from grade 9 to 12. Under the

framework of IB, the high school encourages and respects the

differences of students, and provides the most suitable education

programme for each individual.

Built upon the IB framework, students of G9-G10 will study the

IGCSE integration programme, enabling improvements in the subject

foundation, learning skills and getting to know a wide range of

subjects. It is to help students to find out their interests and passions

IBDP is a programme designed by IBO for students at age 16-19

years old. It is one of the most influential international courses

at present, drawing on the advantages of curriculum systems

from different countries. The structure is comprehensive and

balanced, and the quality evaluation is strict and standardised,

which is conducive to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive

quality and exploration and innovation abilities.

So far, over 5,400 schools have been established in over 140

A Level (Advanced Level Programme) is a highly developed

and standardized curriculum system. The standards and

content of high school are supervised by the Office of the

Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). U.K.

Most universities and Higher Education institutes recognise

A Levels as a suitable entry qualification which has the same

impact on students as Gaokao to Chinese students. There

ISA Liwan International Bilingual Middle School is students-centered as core concept and cultivate

students from academics and learning capability.

The MYP curriculum framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a broad and balanced

education for early adolescents. The MYP requires at least 50 hours of teaching time for each subject

group, in each year of the programme. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range

of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally. The result is young people who are

creative, critical and reflective thinkers.

In the Primary School, our learning programme is developed around each child as a unique individual,

with every student recognized for possessing their own abilities, experiences and interests. With this in

mind, we adopt the IB Primary Years Programme framework that offers student-centered education,

establish closer connections with students, thereby better meeting their social and emotional needs,

offering various programmes such as competitions, seminars, and social activities to students on a house

basis. House system enhances friendships among students, fostering healthy competitive relationships,

establishing close bonds between teachers and students, and fostering a sense of belonging and collective

identity among students.

In ISA Liwan, physical education is the practice of lifelong learning and whole-person education.

Our experienced physical education teachers provide students with an adequate and extensive physical

education curriculum and conduct both process and outcome assessment. We will not only provide

exercise lessons for students, but also teach them about the benefits of regular exercise and healthy

food choices, as well as the risks of inactivity and poor diet.
