日照位于中國東部沿海，山東省東南部，北接青島，西接臨沂，東與日本、韓國

Rizhao is located in the east coast of China, southeast of Shandong Province, bordering

Qingdao on the north and Linyi on the west. It faces Japan and South Korea across the sea.

Rizhao is the “Oriental Bridgehead” of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge, and also one of

the major cities of China's \"Belt and Road Initiative\" strategy.

The land area is 5,359 square kilometers, the sea area is 6,000 square kilometers, and the

Rizhao locates in warm-temperate region of China with a

humid continental monsoon climate. The four seasons in

Rizhao are distinct, with obvious differences between hot and

cold seasons, dry and wet seasons. Rizhao has a dry and

windy spring, warm summer, cool autumn, and mild winter.

It is praised as \"the south of northern China, the north of

southern China\".

Rizhao Economic-Technological Development Area was commenced in August 1991, and

was upgraded to a state-level economic and technological development area in 2010 with the

approval of the State Council. Close to the downtown of Rizhao, RETDA shares high-quality

resources in terms of education, medical care, financial and legal service, attracting more

and more foreign investors living and working here. To the east, RETDA is close to hundredmillion-ton port. In the area, high-speed railway, airport, freight railway and expressway form

an complete transportation system.

空 港

日照港擁有瓦日、新菏兗日兩條千公里鐵路進港，3 條高速公路和 5 條長

輸管線直通港區(qū)，與 100 多個國家和地區(qū)通航，海鐵聯(lián)運、跨境運輸聯(lián)通

中亞、中東歐。2021 年，日照港貨物吞吐量 5.4 億噸，居全國第 7 位；

集裝箱吞吐量 517 萬標準箱，居全國第 11 位。

日照機場距離經(jīng)開區(qū)僅 20 分鐘車程，已累計開通至北京、上海、大連、

哈爾濱、廣州、廈門、深圳、西安等 21 城市 27 個通航點的航班，即將

開通到日本、韓國、泰國國際航線及貨運包機。

沈海、長深、日蘭三條高速公路和兩條國道，縱向連接遼東半島、山東半

島、長江三角洲、珠江三角洲，橫向輻射中原大地。日濰高速、日棗高速、

嵐羅高速連接省內(nèi)高速路網(wǎng)，與周邊城市快速互通互聯(lián)。

日照高鐵站位于經(jīng)開區(qū)境內(nèi)，匯聚青日連鹽高鐵、魯南高鐵，實現(xiàn)膠東

“1 小時經(jīng)濟圈”，北京上海“4.5 小時經(jīng)濟圈”；匯聚日菏、坪嵐、膠

新三條鐵路；我國首條 30 噸軸重重載鐵路——瓦日鐵路終點設在經(jīng)開區(qū)。

There are two thousand-kilometer railways starting from Watang, Shanxi and

Xinxiang, Henan to Rizhao Port. Besides, there are three expressways and five longdistance transmission pipelines connecting to Rizhao Port, which is navigable to

more than 100 countries and regions. Sea-rail combined transportation and crossborder transportation connect China with Central Asia and Eastern Europe. In 2021,

the cargo throughput of Rizhao Port totaled 540 million tons, ranking 7th in China; the

container throughput reached 5.17 million TEUs, ranking 11th in China.

Rizhao Airport is only 20 minutes’ drive from RETDA. It has opened flights

to 27 destinations in 21 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Harbin,

Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Xi'an and will soon open international flights

and cargo charter flights to Japan, South Korea and Thailand.

Three expressways (Shenyang-Haikou, Changchun-Shenzhen and LankaoRizhao) and two national ways connect Shandong Peninsula with eastern

Liaoning Peninsula, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and inland China.

Rizhao-Weifang Expressway, Rizhao-Zaozhuang Expressway and RizhaoLinyi Expressway crosses with the provincial expressway network and connect

Rizhao with surrounding cities.

Rizhao High-speed Railway Station is located in the RETDA, with QingdaoLianyungang-Yancheng high-speed rail and Southern Shandong rail crossing

through, by which it only takes 1 hour travelling from Rizhao to cities of

Shandong Peninsula and 4.5 hours to Beijing and Shanghai. Besides, there are

three rails crossing through Rizhao, namely Rizhao-Heze Railway, RizhaoLinyi Railway and Jiaozhou-Xinyi Railway. The first 30-ton freight railway in

China terminates at RETDA.

Regarding the auto and parts industry, two major production

bases has been built, namely, the Great Wall vehicle production

base and Hyundai Motor auto parts production base. The

Great Wall vehicle production base mainly produces vehicles

of motorcycle types including WEY, Macchiato Hybrid, Ballet

Cat, Cherry Cat, Haval SUV and so on. The Hyundai Motor auto

parts production base has WIA Engine and Transys Automatic

Gearboxes, both of which were invested by Hyundai Group.

Based on the two leading projects, more than 40 enterprises

from Korea, Japan, Europe and America and other enterprises

have settled in RETDA.

規(guī)劃建設總面積 8.28 平方公里的生物醫(yī)藥科技產(chǎn)業(yè)園，其中，起步區(qū) 4.17 平方公里獲批山東省唯一一家

生物化工專業(yè)園區(qū)，主導產(chǎn)業(yè)為生物醫(yī)藥、生物制造、海洋生物工程，現(xiàn)有入園企業(yè) 28 家，其中，生物

RETDA has built a biopharmaceutical industrial park with a total area of 8.28 square

kilometers, of which the starting area with 4.17 square kilometers has been approved as

the sole biopharmaceutical zone in Shandong Province. The leading industries of the zone

consist of biopharma, biological manufacturing and marine bio-engineering. There are 28

enterprises in the zone at present, among which 21 biomedical enterprises has formed

Rizhao is the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, as well as the \"Oriental Bridgehead\" of the New

Eurasian Continental Bridge. Taking full advantage of its strategic position and convenient transportation,

Rizhao extends its market to central China to the west, connects north and south of China, and faces the

countries along the Pacific Ocean. RETDA has more than 20,000 enterprises with more than 100 foreigninvested enterprises settling down here such as ZF, D-HLER,Hyundai, Bunge, DGS, and Nittan. Foreign

capital in RETDA are from 25 countries and regions such as South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Germany,

the United States, Switzerland, Canada, and Netherlands.

日照市擁有曲阜師范大學、山東外國語職業(yè)技術(shù)大學、日照職業(yè)

技術(shù)學院等省、市屬高校 8 所，在校生 8.19 萬人，日照職業(yè)學校、

日照市技師學院等中等職業(yè)學校 12 所，在校生 2.98 萬人，培養(yǎng)

了大批具有熟練操作技能的產(chǎn)業(yè)工人，為日照市及周邊地區(qū)的經(jīng)

With 81,900 students in total, Rizhao has 8 provincial and municipal

colleges and universities such as Qufu Normal University, Shandong

Vocational and Technical University of International Studies and

Rizhao Polytechnic. There are 12 secondary vocational schools such

as Rizhao Vocational School, Rizhao Technician College, with 29,800

students in total. A large number of industrial workers with proficient

operation skills have been trained, providing sufficient labor resource
